Ethiopia Sidamo Natural
raspberry, cherry, dark chocolate
This organically produced coffee is sourced from family-owned farms organized around the Oromia Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union (OCFCU), an umbrella organization established in 1999 to support a sustainable coffee supply from cooperatives in the Oromia region of Ethiopia. Coffee producers deliver their ripe cherries to washing stations, where coffee is carefully sorted and immediately placed on raised beds and dried over a period of 15 to 20 days. The raised drying beds are carefully constructed to ensure proper air circulation and temperature control for an optimal drying process. The cherries are also turned regularly on the beds to prevent damage during the drying process.

Service was great!
Since I became obsessed with natural process coffees three years ago, I have relied on Tico to roast the two coffees that consistently top my list, their Sidamo and Yirgacheffe. Thank you!
Outstanding aroma and well balanced flavors arising from the perfect roast, when prepared as expresso. Dark chocolate in the palate and good acidity. It does not do well with household automatic barista machines. Make expresso...
