Costa Rica La Minita
Hacienda La Minita is located in the steep terrain of the Tarrazú Valley in Costa Rica and is a symbol of quality and commitment with rigorous coffee consumers around the world. And beyond that (and the reasons why we purchase this coffee), they have a commitment to the community and the environment.
Our direct relationship with La Minita started 10 years ago when we started Tico Coffee Roasters. Our desire was to provide a truly unique experience. Since then, this coffee has become a favorite for many.
You can feel confident that your purchase supports worthy causes like environment preservation at the farm, no use of pesticides, housing for workers, financial support to buy school uniforms and supplies every year for the children of La Minita's employees, as well as supporting schools in the community where Hacienda La Minita is located.

One Of My Favorites
I have purchased La Minita many times and find myself drawn back to this bean time after time. It is a good everyday cup of coffee which is smooth on the palate, yet rich and robust.

Disappointed
Quarity of La Minita this time is less than before(though it was a bit long ago) I expected more aroma.

Excellent coffee though pricey
I’ve been drinking la minita for some time now. I find the coffee purchased from Tico seems to be fresher though quite a bit more than my other supplier. I haven’t decided whether to continue to purchase here due to the almost double price from other vendors. $25 for shipping and 12 oz of coffee is steep to me. The product itself was excellent.

Very good coffee, not great
I was expecting the flavours to be a bit stronger without being that of a darker roast but still pleased with the coffee. I guess the expectations built up by reading so much about the coffee in Wayne Stinnett's books were just not quite met.
